Armani Eady is a graduate research fellow at the Thomas B. Fordham Institute. She proudly hails from her hometown of Harlem, New York City. Armani is a recent graduate of Loyola University New Orleans and holds a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science. Throughout her undergraduate career, she has served in the offices of an assemblymember, the Public Advocate of New York, and most recently, the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia. Armani’s commitment to advancing social justice for marginalized communities led her to founding the L.O.V.E. Chapter of Loyola University—an organization dedicated to empowering, uplifting, and inspiring collegiate women of color. Most recently, she served as an English Literature co-teacher in New Orleans, LA, where she found her calling for advocacy within education. Armani is currently pursuing her master’s degree in educational policy at Georgetown University. She has plans to radically transform education and continue advocating for access to equal and equitable education for all students.
