Deborah Meier's latest blog is all about Rick Hess' new book, The Same Thing Over and Over.? The veteran educator and unapologetic progressive, compares Hess to Ted Sizer:
[Hess] goes considerably further than Ted but there are lots of similar ideas: rethinking the geographic structure of schooling, more attention to the Internet and media in general, departing thoroughly from the seat-time requirements, and rethinking the definition of private vs. public.
Meier's take is worth a read.? Perhaps this is a new on-ramp to the bridge.
