Last year, for the first time, ?more women than men in the United States received doctoral degrees,? writes Daniel de Vise in the Washington Post. ?Women now hold a nearly 3-to-2 majority in undergraduate and graduate education,? de Vise continues, and they ?have long outnumbered men in earning master's degrees, especially in education.? In fact, ?nearly six in 10 graduate degrees in 2008-09? went to females. Good stuff. So when, one wonders, is the American Association of University Women going to shut its doors? Probably never.
