The Board of Trustees of the Thomas B. Fordham Institute has elected Caprice Young as its newest member. An exceptional education reformer with extraordinarily wide-ranging experience, Ms. Young is currently CEO of Distance Learning, Knowledge Universe's online K-12 learning subsidiary.
I've been a Caprice Young fan since roughly 30 seconds after I first met her and she has already begun to demonstrate what an enormously valuable addition to an already-terrific Fordham board she is going to be. We are SO lucky! We just had a board meeting today and I was reminded yet again not only that we have a team of superstars in that room but also that their commitment to Fordham and to education reform is equaled by their interpersonal chemistry, their imagination and their sense of humor. Caprice will be in good company. That good company will be??made better by her presence.
