Over the weekend, David Broder argued that education should be the next issue on the Congressional agenda, and that it could be a rare chance for a bipartisan victory. He pointed out that the Obama Administration's ESEA blueprint is receiving some praise from GOP lawmakers. He went on to say:
Duncan credits Republicans Lamar Alexander of Tennessee, a former secretary of education now in the Senate, and Rep. Mike Castle of Delaware for helping shape the proposal.
Hmm. Tennessee and Delaware. Tennessee and Delaware. Where have I heard about those states recently?
