The United States and India plan to increase their collaboration on higher education. Starting in 2011, for instance, the countries will hold annual summits on the topic. Virginia Tech and Georgetown universities are just two of several American schools that are planning to start campuses in India. And in addition to other higher education initiatives, a ?40 per cent increase in the funding for Fulbright-Nehru fellowship and a new skill development programme are also on the anvil.?
