Still, it's helpful that ?American education's newspaper of record? has made it official. Here's the key nugget:
In the short run, the equation is a simple one. Districts brought more educators onto the rolls in better budget times. Now, with 80 percent or more of the typical district's budget caught up in salaries and benefits, they might be forced to cut back on some of those positions.
That's certainly the case in Ohio.
But Dennis Van Winkle, I mean Van Roekel, can't believe this take on history.
