In Massachusetts, music programs are getting cut, even though studies show they will improve your algebra. Now, schools won't even let you cry about it to your best friend (or to God, if you do it out loud as one valedictorian tried at her high school graduation). At least more students are making it to college, with the help of some parental involvement. How does that rank for you (hopefully as high as your high school did)?
