Spring seems to have everyone talking about (or avoiding) the birds and the bees. Maybe that's why it was such a slow education news day. Otherwise, Race to the Top still controls the stage (even the New Teacher Project is weighing in). And it doesn't help that Race2 is underway (commentary here). We've got to break out of this news funk and find some alternative storylines. Seriously, listen. It'll take more than an interview with Arne or Rick to save us. But, I worry when the non-Race to the Top news is that college helps disadvantaged kids. We're smarter than that.
