Who, after all, can resist that sunshine and all those casual, wavy palm trees? Not Michelle Rhee, it seems. It was today announced that the former chancellor of Washington, D.C.'s public schools will be advising Florida's governor-elect, Rick Scott, as part of his education transition team. The position is unpaid, and Rhee will stay in Washington . . . for now. The Miami Herald reports that Scott's spokesman has said the next governor ?definitely? wants Rhee to ?stick around.? Rumor has it that Rhee may sign soon sign?up as Florida's education chief and move on down to Tallahassee.
