The What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) is a project of the U.S. Department of Education's Institute of Education Sciences, established to provide educators, policymakers, and the public with a central, independent, and trusted source of scientific evidence of what works in education. The WWC is developing standards for reviewing and synthesizing educational research and will provide its findings in accessible, user-friendly, searchable online databases. The WWC is currently identifying education topic areas, interventions, and general approaches to review - both this year and in the future - and is seeking input from the education community. Visit the WWC website (http://w-w-c.org/topicnom.html) for more information about nominating topics and submitting suggestions.
