On Oklahoma's ballot today, voters find eleven questions, one of which asks them whether per-pupil funding in the OK should be increased to match the expenditures of neighboring states.
With rampant budget shortfalls and long-term fiscal insecurity for schools, districts, and states, this just seems like a terrible idea.
So, Sooners, if all of your friends were jumping off a bridge, would you do it too?
UPDATE: The resounding answer is no?80% of Oklahomans voted against the increase.
