This post from Russo last week raises a very, very interesting issue. The feds are pumping billions and billions into the turnaround space. As a result, it appears that lots of new "turnaround organizations" are materializing.
They may be new, inexperienced, and entering a field with a history of poor results but states and districts have to tackle this work and spend these funds.
Unfortunately, a likely consequence will be a number of clever entrepreneurs making a good bit of money while our troubled schools continue to struggle mightily.
