President Obama is teaming up with General Colin Powell right now to talk dropout reduction. I've got no beef with that. But note this press release, in which Powell's group, America's Promise, provides examples of "partner organizations" which have committed to join its Grad Nation campaign. See this one in particular (emphasis added):
The First Tee ???A youth development program that provides learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development through the principles and play of golf, has pledged to expand their program reach and intensify its education focus to help decrease the dropout rate.
