Tony Bennett, Indiana's state superintendent, has made waves during his short tenure?almost always for the right reasons. He's pushed a number of greatly needed reforms and has run into opposition from some of the state's establishment organizations.
The Indianapolis Star recently produced this largely favorable take on Bennett's work to date, including his controversial decision to forgo applying in the second round of the Race to the Top.
Keep your eye on Indiana?if Bennett and Governor Mitch Daniels have their way, change is coming on a number of fronts.
