The controversial New York Times education reporter ? see here ? has not been seen in print since August 2.? This was after a flurry of weekly stories he wrote following the Times' July 12 announcement that Winerip was reprising his ?On Education? column, which would appear, said the Times, every Monday.? By my count Winerip has missed 7 Mondays since his August 2 piece on autism.? Long vacation?? Working on a big story?? Inquiring minds want to know.
