- Brunswick City Schools recently celebrated its third “clean audit” award over the last seven years, bestowed by the Auditor of State. (Cleveland.com, 4/27/21)
- However, the true award for fiscal excellence must go to Chloe Green. Hands down. The 19-year-old central Ohioan graduated from her charter school at age 16, started her own business while holding down two other jobs, invested like a savant, and saved zealously toward her goal. She has now become what some folks believe is the youngest DIY home buyer ever in the area. “Kudos” seems a little tepid for such a mighty accomplishment, but I get the feeling we’ll be needing even more and greater accolades for Ms. Green in the future.
