- I’m sure I alluded to this (or, more likely, I probably outright said it) when we first discussed Dayton City Schools’ plans for a new K-12 catch-all school for students whose first language is not English, but I think it bears saying again today: This sounds like a recipe for academic and operational disaster. Why say it again? Because we now have even more details that make it sound like even more of an inevitable train wreck. Take a look and see how many red flags are raised for you.
