Miles comes to Fordham with a diverse business and legal background that includes real estate, auditing, and tax. He has over a decade of work experience in the state & local tax (SALT) arena, having begun with Deloitte & Touche LLP, that covers consulting, audits, and tax compliance. He has dealt with many issues concerning local government finance and various governmental entities, including public school districts, while serving various business clients, both public and private companies. As a result, Miles is uniquely qualified to offer many perspectives in carrying out his authorizing duties.
Miles holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida, a J.D. from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, and has completed the Certificate in Education Finance (CEF) program at Georgetown University. He is also a former U.S. Army officer and an outdoor enthusiast, along with his wife Jen and son Robert.
