Theda Sampson is the Director for Applications and Contracts for the Thomas B. Fordham Foundation. Prior to this role, she worked providing business-management services to schools and was involved in the first charter school turnaround in Ohio. Following a career in restaurant management, development, and ownership, she became actively involved in the formation of a local 501(c)(3) teen center with a music venue, which peaked her interest in non-profit management. She has a B.A. in Political Science and Business Management, along with a certification in non-profit management, from Wright State University. She resides in Springboro Ohio, is happily married, and is part of a three-generation household which includes her son and great-niece, along with a menagerie of two cats, two dogs, and two gerbils.
